Paris and Le Tour de France, page 2

Michelle and Luis in our hostel.

This was a bus we had to ride due to construction on the Metro.

An attempt at covert photography; we were amused by the number of pacifiers this kid had.

Jeremy, Chris, Michelle, Charlie, and Elissa in the cemetery.

Jim Morrison's grave.

I thought this van was a little out of place.

Sarah Bernhardt's grave.

Oscar Wilde's grave.

The plaque near Oscar Wilde's grave. I found it amusing that they even provided a French translation of the instructions.

Jeremy and Chris in line to get jerseys for the finale.

I forget which building this is.

I took this picture for Jess. She likes hockey.

Musee Pompedieu, one of the weirdest looking buildings. I really regret not budgeting more time for this place -- I found it quite interesting inside.

A view of Sacre Cour from Pompedieu.

Looking down.

The nice restaraunt up at the top of Pompedieu.

These prices are in FF.

This was one of the things exhibited in Pompedieu -- it's worth clicking on for the larger sized image.

An accordian player riding the Metro.

Michelle, trying on Charlie's jacket.

Luis, Michelle, Elissa, Chris, and Charlie in the hostel room making signs supporting Lance Armstrong.

Check out the antennae that each team car sports.

This is totally random -- it's from Dr. Salamone's apartment in Metz. The zero-indexed elevator with a -1 for the basement just caught my eye.

The following pictures were taken with a cheapy disposable camera. All things considered, they came out fairly well.

Michelle broke her foot on the stairs in our hostel; this is Chris giving her a piggy-back ride.

Luis, Chris, and Jeremy goofing around with our posters.

I'm not sure whether we actually needed directions, but we asked anyways.

Riders getting refreshments after the celebration ride.

Folks getting ready to ride the course in the morning.

This man was attaching a video camera to his bike for the ride. We randomly ended up standing together in the line to ride, and it turned out that he worked for the company that I had done an internship with the summer before in Austin, TX. It's a small world.
