On the way to our youth hostel we ran into some art school students that
were making a movie. This was one of the actors.

I don't know what other people think, but the Mona Lisa has never
impressed me. Perhaps that's because I was never able to see it in its
full glory, up close. Unforunately, I don't think that will ever
happen. As a substitute, there's always the crowd of fifty people
pushing and pulling to get their disposable cameras and flashes up to
the four inch thick glass and snap that one picture which will make them
famous. Instead, I stood back and tried to get a picture of the crowd.
I thought this sculpture was neat.

This is the biggest traffic problem I have ever seen. Pedestrians all
walk in underground pathways to cross. The picture looking up at the Arc
was taken from the crosswalk visible in the very top of this frame.
